Because y'all deserve that and I missed you guys terribly!


It's my first revival post for the year 2009, and I know it probably won't be the last (as we all know school and rl hates our precious parallel universe that is the internet), but here I am, trying hard again to survive. I won't allow my paid account go to waste anymore (it already rotted away with uselessness for about a month; and that, I believe, is enough).

I couldn't go LJ-ing prior to this, though, due to several annoying reasons:

1) Academics (it'll never end)
2) I got food-poisoned (but that was only for a week -- it was tapsilog, of all things)
3) I reformatted my computer (for a fresh start during the new year -- and really, Quicktime was giving me hell)
4) I reformatted it again (this time it was iTunes)
5) I deleted all my data and "wrote zeros to my disk" (I think its computer lingo for "YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANY DATA BACK, no, seriously.")
6) I reformatted it again (this time it was the WHOLE SYSTEM HANGING ON ME)
7) ...Left4Dead ate my brain (zooombies, no -- seriously -- they do eat brains)

As you can see from 3-6, I went through quite some time trying to fix my baby (aka AYUMU -- aka Spoiled White Macbook of Aya who runs on Tiger but wants to run on Leopard). I refused to bring it to the hospital (iStore, wherever) because I knew, as I was its mother, that I could fix it on my own until further symptoms arose. Actually I'm saving for a PS3 so I didn't want to spend as much as possible.

Anyway, the toil is finally over, and my precious darling is finally up and working again! Although it did crash a few times (thrice if you want details), but I identified the problem and saw to it that it wouldn't be a bother for now. So, here we are! All seems well; and as you can see, I can write a lengthy entry without any distractions.


Now, since that rant is done and now a part of yesterdays-entries-to-be, let me get back to the reason of why I thought of posting at my beloved personal journal in the first place. What other reason could there be but: to see how things were going at this side of the virtual world.

So, how are you guys? ;3

I know I probably missed a terrible lot, so I'm dying to hear from all of you~ o/


P.S HAS ANYBODY WATCHED CLANNAD AFTER STORY 18? I--I cried so much. Ushio! *o*

P.P.S Neighbor next door was battling my J-POP sound system! Turned volume higher as a sign of fighting back. BANZAI \o/

Happy to hear you're back. I had to reformat my computer cuz I picked up a nasty virus looking for JPop sites (not downloading stuff, just the surfing itself)...and ended up finding what I needed on a site I frequent later on!

Most of what I've done so far this year consists of playing CIMA: The Enemy and watching myself fall into random holes cuz I have no coordination with hack and slash games...

Sad thing is, Mac's aren't supposed to have viruses. (Although we have Trojan's. Lalala~) But it seems that my applications got corrupted by something, and I don't know what. orz. Everything seems fine now, though.

Glad you're doing okay! Haha, I have no coordination with those kinds of games, either. FPS is a different matter, though ;D;D;D

For some reason, I'm actually halfway good at CIMA despite being uncoordinated (half of the time I fall into holes its because I have to jump on a platform while moving or need a monster to activate the bridge so I can cross...and my poor partner usually gets the worst of it since her AI is slow to react and follow). I don't even want to know how I managed my no death playthrough...why that one boss who usually blasts me didn't will always be a mystery.
